This very beautiful card comes from Zasa. 🙂

The city of Bern, with a population of 137,980, is the fourth most populous city in Switzerland. Bern is also the capital of the Canton of Bern, the second most populous of Switzerland’s cantons. The official language of Bern is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the Alemannic Swiss German dialect called Bernese German. In 1983 the historic old town in the centre of Bern became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Bern is ranked among the world’s top ten cities for the best quality of life (2010).

Stockhorn, which has a height of 2,190 meters, is the highest peak of the Stockhorn Range. The mountain consists of a nearly vertical slab of rock, so that it appears either wide or pointed, depending on your perspective. The region is the starting point for numerous summer activities like hiking, Nordic walking, climbing, fishing, paragliding and bungee jumping.

This card came from my pen pal Ivana from Montenegro. 🙂
