Another postcard from lovely Natalia from Poland. 🙂
Here are all the lovely Christmas cards I received this holiday season.
This one is from Dorota in Ireland.
This one is from Valentina in Malta.
This one was a nice surprise from Clotilde in France.
Another surprise from Beatrice from Lithuania.
This one is from my pen pal Agnieszka in Poland.
And here’s a delayed birthday card from Agnieszka. ❤
Those two beautiful cards come from my pen pal Agnieszka. 🙂 Random fact – jawor (явор) in Bulgarian means maple. And according to Wikipedia the name Jawor is Polish for “sycamore”.
Jawor is a town in south-western Poland with 24,347 inhabitants (2006). It is situated in Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is the seat of Jawor County, and lies approximately 61 kilometres west of the regional capital Wrocław. In the town can be found a Protestant Church of Peace. It was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
Oh, let me tell you something about the power of complaining and its relation to postcards. Once you start complaining about a lost or long travelling card, the said card usually arrives in the next couple of days. 😀 The other day my pen pal Agnieszka asked me if I’ve received her Christmas card (I hadn’t) and voila, the card arrived the very next day. 😀
